Several weeks ago the club were looking to introduce some changes to the weekend training times, as yet these changes have not happened, the club and the Neptune Centre are still in discussions and we will keep everyone updated via the club noticeboard and the website.

As of Tuesday 10th January, I am going to open up the Wednesday morning sessions to all the NAG swimmers. The Session runs for 5:45 – 7:15am. With the introduction of this extra session I expect every swimmer from the squad to do at least one morning in the week

The Neptune was once again the venue of our second sponsored channel swim. A big thank you to all the swimmers and parents who took the time to participate this year. Once we have received all the sponsorship monies we will list all the swimmers who gave up their time to make this swim a success. MASC must also thank the many parents who attended and supported the swimmers and the club from the poolside and provided the snacks and drinks to keep all the swimmers fed and watered.

We intend to keep you posted on the running total on this page.

Middlesbrough Amateur Swimming Club operates from its main base in The Neptune. In addition we also have pool time available at The Rainbow Centre – Coulby Newham. The club coaches swimmers of all ages and abilities.  Our members range from non-competitive swimmers who wish to maintain their fitness, to National Squad members who compete at National and International competitions. New members are always welcome, although you must be able to swim 100m and have an understanding of all four swimming strokes.
